1- Definitions

  • “Al Alawi Auto”, “we”, “us”, or “our” means Al Alawi Auto Maintenance Establishment.
  • “Customer” or “you” means the vehicle owner or authorized representative using our services or website.
  • “Services” means inspections, diagnostics, repairs, parts supply, and related workshop services.

2- Appointments & Vehicle Drop-off

  • Appointments can be booked via WhatsApp, phone, or onsite. Walk-ins are welcome, subject to availability.
  • Bring your vehicle registration and any previous repair records if available.
  • We may road-test your vehicle before/after service; you authorize reasonable test drives for diagnostics and quality checks.

3- Estimates, Authorization & Changes

  • We provide written estimates (digital or printed) detailing parts, labor, taxes, and expected timelines.
  • No additional work is performed without your approval. If new issues are found, we will request authorization before proceeding.
  • Estimates are based on observed symptoms; complex faults may require staged diagnostics and revised quotes.

4- Diagnostics & Parts

  • Diagnostics may include system scans, guided tests, wiring checks, and road tests. A diagnostic fee may apply.
  • We use genuine or high-quality OEM-equivalent parts unless you request otherwise. Special-order parts may require a deposit and are non-returnable after order placement.
  • Removed parts are disposed of unless you request to keep them at drop-off time.

5- Payments

  • We accept cash, bank transfer, and supported cards via POS. Full payment is due upon vehicle collection unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Invoices include VAT details when applicable. Storage fees may apply for vehicles left beyond 3 working days after completion notice.
  • Corporate/fleet work may require a purchase order or pre-approved credit terms.

6- Warranties

  • Parts: Manufacturer’s warranty applies (commonly up to 6 months for eligible components such as AC compressors—exact term varies by brand).
  • Labor: Limited workmanship warranty for the specific repair performed, as stated on your invoice.
  • Wear items, fluids, and customer-supplied parts are generally excluded. Warranty is void if parts are tampered with or vehicle is misused or modified after repair.

7- Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate contact information and describe symptoms honestly.
  • Remove personal belongings; we are not responsible for items left in the vehicle.
  • Notify us promptly of any post-service concerns and allow us to inspect/rectify under warranty where applicable.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by Omani law, Al Alawi Auto is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (e.g., loss of use, time, or income).
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
  • Certain faults may be intermittent or related to prior work by others; results can vary in complex electrical/hybrid systems.

9- Cancellations & Delays

  • You may cancel or reschedule; please inform us as early as possible.
  • Delays may occur due to parts availability, supplier issues, or additional faults discovered. We will keep you updated.
